I have been running marathons for over 10 years. Fiona worked with me to change my pre race nerves as I was uptight and anxious before races and found it very difficult to look forward and be positive about the whole situation. I think this affected my races because I put too much pressure on myself and had a negative feeling about the race which in turn had a knock on effect on my running.
Due to the work we have done I now have the right level of positive nerves before a race which helps me to focus on what I need to do to achieve my race goals. I feel more much positive and races are much more enjoyable! I have loads more confidence because I know I can do it. I have self-belief.
I think that my work with Fiona is definitely one of the key elements in reducing my PB times. Fiona is professional and fantastic at what she does.
